DESCRIPTION

4-axis hydraulic knee for moderate to high activity level amputee patients (K3 – K4) up to 125 kg / 275 lb.
New and improved hydraulic unit :
– better adaptation to changes of walking paces
– smooth and responsive transition from stance phase to swing phase
– advanced oil more adapted to temperature variations : the HYDEAL II knee is now able to operate from -10°C to +40°C (14°F to 104°F).

The flexion and extension resistance can separately be adjusted to obtain optimum walking conditions for the patient.
Suitable for practising sports such as bike riding, jogging or rowing machine.
Able to precisely adjust knee for improved patient dynamics thanks to a tool (provided).
Proximal connection : male pyramid or M36 screw.

Mountain biking champion Stephan Büchler has tested the new HYDEAL II knee : “I need less energy to launch the swing phase, which is very smooth. At heel strike, the extension goes right to the end and I feel really safe. In addition, the new hydraulic unit has a very good shock absorption. This is comfortable and I can walk a longer period of time without my residual limb hurting.This knee is also very dynamic. Thanks to better flexion control, it does not ride up as much as before. This is less tiring for my leg. The best thing is that I don’t need to change the adjustments for walking or cycling”, the rider says.
